About
who we are
Maryann Ruben is an independent Registered Investment Advisor Representative, specializing in estate planning, retirement income and efficient wealth transfer. She is devoted to helping her clients achieve their financial goals for themselves and their families.
Maryann offers innovative solutions that maximize every dollar while minimizing taxes and protecting assets from unnecessary costs, fees and market losses. Drawing strategies from some of the brightest thinkers in the industry, Maryann helps her clients navigate through, and disseminate, the overwhelming barrage of retirement information –and misinformation–they receive.
Since 2005, Maryann has entered into professional relationships with hundreds of retirees and near–retirees. These relationships are key for new clients, as they help shape how we plan for their future. As the financial environment evolves and changes, Maryann continues to learn from existing relationships and professional continuing education courses. She shares what she learns with her clients and their families, who also benefit from her expertise.
Service and joy are Maryann’s passions. She’s a Spiritual Director trained at the Ignatian Spirituality Institute, John Carroll University. She regularly leads faith–sharing workshops and retreats, and her whole family participates actively in mission through Avon Lake United Church of Christ.
In 2013, Maryann began creating “Moments of Joy” for families of children going through serious illness, with Jeremy Cares, Inc., a local non–profit. She is an active, volunteer member of the Board of Directors.
Maryann has been blissfully married to Paul for 25 years. She has seven siblings and a slew of nieces and nephews. Son, Joseph, is a 2022 North Olmsted High School graduate, and daughter, Layla, attends The Ohio State University…O–H!!
